I first saw this little bird on our bird table in June 2004. He should really be in Africa, but for some reason he comes here each summer & lives amongst our sparrows. He is similar to them in size being just a fraction smaller, but he bosses them around. He has a very distinctive high call. He must by now be 4 years old & has just arrived back for the fourth summer!
